concrete steps for freedom Style = "Color: RGB (0, 0, 0);"> In Turkey, the struggle for democracy in Turkey, not only with the election chests, but in the streets, squares and the organized power of the people. Recent developments have led to once again the deep fear of power from mass people's movements. Rising reactions against trustees policies are tried to be blocked by oppression and arrests, as it has the potential to turn into a May 1 wave that may emerge from the control of power. Despite all these lawlessness and antidemocratic interventions, the politics and discourse put forward by the opposition fully meet the expectations of the people? The mass actions initiated by Özel in Saraçhane can be considered as an important development in terms of showing that the opposition may exist in the street. However, the actions should not be limited to a mass response, but should be shaped within the framework of concrete democratic demands. Today, the most basic demands of the people; The immediate abolition of the trustees, the freedom of elected mayors, to ensure a fair and free election environment and to establish the rule of law. An activity process in which these demands are not clearly expressed will not go beyond increasing the despair of the people in the long term. We took part in the front ranks in the struggle. Resisting the state's denial, assimilation and pressure policies is not a choice for us, but a historical necessity. However, in today's political atmosphere, a real democratic order is needed not only for Alevis but also for all peoples and beliefs. If the trustee policies are not opposed today, the will of the people will be ignored tomorrow. Today, if a common struggle against unlawful arrests is not fought, we will be deprived of our freedoms tomorrow. When revealing the unlawfulness of the government, it is necessary to make clear demands. If Özgür Özel and CHP can turn the movement they initiated in Saraçhane into a real political program, this process may be a light of hope. Otherwise, an action plan to absorb the existing anger will not work other than weakening the determination of the people. It is inevitable that the laborers, the oppressed peoples and all democratic forces will meet in a common struggle. This is what really frightens power. The establishment of a combined line of struggle, the clamping of different social segments around common demands and the construction of a strong social opposition that can stand against the oppressive policies of power. So, we are "either together, or none of us!" We will continue to say. We will raise our voices against those who are elected to prison, those who usurp the will of the people, those who stand against labor and freedom. As Alevis, Kurds, Workers, Women, Young people and all the forces of democracy, we will grow the struggle for an equal and free Türkiye with the consciousness of our historical responsibility.
