Multiple refugees mean that people have more than one refugee or multiples of refugees such as 1, 2, 3, 4. Refugeeism has changed. Normally people become refugees once. He is forced to leave a country and lives as a refugee in another country for a short or long time. It is now increasingly common for the same peopleor groups of people to experience refugee status more than once.
Literature people see the new in human life more quickly. In her last novel, "Dieser Weite Weg", Isabel Allende tells about a couple who, after fighting with the republicans in the Spanish civil war, had to flee to Chile after Franco won, lived there for years, and this time had to flee to Venezuela after the Pinochet coup. These people have become refugees twice.
The examples we constantly experience have begun to exceed two. Let's start from Afghanistan, using the example we know.
Many Afghans have fled the war that has been going on for years. They take refuge in Iran. Iran gives short-term military training to those selected among them and sends them off to fight as soldiers in the Iranian army in Syria, with the threat of "either you fight or go back." These people suffer heavy losses in the face of experienced jihadists who have been fighting for years.
Some of the remaining people live in a war in Iran. After living for a while, they move to Turkey (second refugee status).
They live here for a while and then they are put on buses. They are taken to the border gates in Thrace to cross into Greece. Some people want to try their luck by reaching one of the Greek islands by sea (third refugee).
They have to stay here, there is no further. A small number of people who find their way in one way or another reach countries such as Germany, France and Sweden via Greece (the fourth refugee). When they fail and are sent back, they usually do not return to Afghanistan, but return to one of the previous levels of refugee status to try their luck again.
12 Among the Turkish revolutionaries who had to come to European countries after September, the number of those who became refugees twice is not small. First, they come to Germany (to the West, as there were two Germanys in those years), and when their asylum applications are not accepted, they go to France, get an asylum passport from there and come back to Germany. They must obtain a residence permit to work in this country. They marry Turkish women and have their French asylum passport converted into a German asylum passport.
European Union to prevent multiple refugees A worldwide agreement was made. Accordingly, a person who applies for asylum in one country is registered and cannot re-apply in another country. There are also those who find a way despite restrictive measures. Living and working illegally is the most well-known practice. Marriage has lost its importance. The third generation usually chooses their spouse among those who have lived in the same country for years.
Refugee continues to take new forms. Seeking asylum in different countries using different identities, going to another country when the situation arises and constantly moving around is one of the methods.
People will definitely find a suitable method when they have to, especially if they have acquaintances living in European countries.
