BANKRUPTY OF THE POLITICAL INSTITUTION IN TURKEY Menderes İnanç

Political science has essentially been the key to solutions to social problems for centuries. Unfortunately, the hundred-year-old Republic began to decay before it could resolve the contradictions it created with its own logic.

The administrators of the period literally put shackles on their own feet by putting into effect the 1924 Constitution as an alternative to the 1921 Constitution.

They have been struggling in this bottomless pit for a hundred years. The assimilation of the Kurds, the largest and most established people of the country, cost the rejectionist, denialist and exterminationist Republic a lot.

Germany and similar countries, which were destroyed in the Second World War, recovered within twenty years and are now the fourth largest country in the world. While they managed to become an economic power, the people of my country only managed to be their porters. In Çetin Altan's words, we have become a society that has spent a hundred years with "Turkish-Turkish propaganda". As a result of the mentality of "Homeland, Nation, Sakarya" on one side of us, "You and I are our boy; let's eat and drink and laugh at you" on the other side, we have fallen into a deep social decay. The country. While twenty percent of the population controls the economy, eighty percent are suffering in poverty and despair!

Russian Cari Thirty years after he called the Ottomans a "sick man", it resulted in the destruction of the Ottoman Empire.

Nowadays, opportunism is rampant and political, moral and cultural decay has reached its peak. The political institution is incapable of producing solutions, non-governmental organizations and unions have lost their class character. Yellow unionism has turned into a field of profit, the country is like a heavily loaded truck whose brakes have burst; It is unclear which rock it will hit!

While all this is going on, political parties act like nothing is happening! It is a complete disaster that they engage in politics by abusing the emotions of social segments. They are trying to exist through racism, nationalism and religiousism.

The greatest danger is that social decay will drive a large part of society into a very dangerous state of unconsciousness. The conscientious intellectuals and writers of the country became hesitant to write two lines. There is one thing that should not be forgotten: In such times of crisis, the importance of intellectuals is quite high! Intellectuals are like the beacons on the foreheads of miners who mine thousands of meters underground! However, in this country, even intellectuals have always been treated as others.

As a result, the Kurdish problem, which was seen as the problem of the century, was not solved, but the system was rotten. However, if the political institution had done its duty and played its role, they would have served social peace from conflicting internal issues. At this point, neither the Kurds have become Turkified nor the Turks have become happy…
