APPROACHING HISTORY SELECTION WITH HISTORICAL RESPONSIBILITY
As Turkey goes to the May 14 elections, three three it is clustered at the main point, in all three alliances there can be no talk of a right or left front. Because the similar aspects and common features of the situation of all three blocks are obvious. It cannot be mentioned here from a right or left front. Because, judging by the alliance partners, the front that sees itself as a social "democrat" is religious felicity party, liberal Ali Babacan... On the other hand, there is the left-wing DSP and HUDA PAR, which invites the Taliban to Diyarbakır, on the front that is the people's alliance … green, which sees itself as the third political path. Among the left parties and components, let's keep Kurdistan from parties, they consist of very colorful and multi-layered units, from Kurdish socialist and Turkish socialist parties!
There is a reality here that the mission assigned to the election is the "historical election"! then it is imperative that everyone and every segment of society should be approached with a sense of historical responsibility! As the Republic of Turkey enters its centennial, it will either enter as a middle eastern state or enter its centenary as a Democratic Republic with a new Paradigm. Either by changing the current government in this election, especially the Kurdish problem; It will continue on its way by solving problems by confronting its delayed problems with a Democratic Constitution that will solve its century-old problems. Or it will be dragged into an adventure with the repetition of the century. The new century should not be entered with this brutal system that has cost the lives of thousands of leftist socialist revolutionaries in the last hundred years. This is why each of us must approach with a sense of historical responsibility.
The most important job to do is to set aside differences and unite in minimum commons and create social opposition. However, in the last fifteen days, we have seen that the bargaining and calculating approaches of some left parties have shaken the hopes of the people. It is here that it becomes clear once again why the left of Turkey has not succeeded for years. However, the Green Left Party is an important opportunity. Putting aside petty calculations and personal savings, a revolutionary attitude and an approach with a moral stance is both respectful to the masses of the people and it is our responsibility.
