NEW MIGRATION Written by Engin ERKINER
NEW MIGRATION
Three new migration waves. We don't know to what extent these will happen, but they have significant potential.
The first is internal migration after the earthquake. There is a great migration to regions that are expected to be less affected by future earthquakes – Mersin, Tarsus, Antalya and especially Ankara. There is also an urban migration within Istanbul towards the regions where the ground is stronger.
We do not know the numbers and We'll probably never know for sure, but at least a few hundred might say one.
Germany's It can be said that nothing came out of the easy three-month visa given to those who are from the earthquake zone and want to come to their relatives. So far, about 1500 people have been granted visas in this context. The people who invite bear all the costs and treatments in case of illness.
Another migration, or rather a big one It is about possible immigration bureaucrats that are expected to reach numbers. The increase in the possibility of Kılıçdaroğlu, the candidate of the Nation Alliance, to win the presidential election, has led to a large number of visa applications in the country. Bureaucrats, who think that nothing good will happen to them as a result of a change in management, apply for visas.
Another issue concerns the qualified personnel that Germany plans to acquire from Turkey. It is planned to take about 50 thousand people. These are qualified staff, but they will re-educate in Germany because the education system of this country is different and they find it relatively backward to what is in Turkey.
After the training, these people will most likely work in Germany because there is a need for qualified personnel in different fields in this country or they will return.
Doctors coming to Germany from Turkey voluntarily receive additional training in practice in this country. Regardless of the level of education in the previous country, additional education is seen as a must. This is partly due to the lack of education in the previous country and the desire to employ these people cheaply for at least two years.
Another migration, this time reverse migration, took place in the example of Syrians. It was written that approximately 40,000 Syrians returned to their countries after the earthquake. Some of the Syrians who were excluded from earthquake aid or worked for as little as possible had to return.
;Summer is coming. New refugee deaths will begin in the Aegean and Mediterranean. In the Aegean, the price was $1000 per person in previous years, now it's 1500, if not more…
Turkey is a country that constantly receives and sends immigrants.
Syrians, Afghans, Iranians and people from African countries came, they still come, even if they are few, and especially qualified personnel leave. So much so that offices have been established in both countries to handle the bureaucratic work of doctors who want to go.
Doctors and nurses are still coming...
