The last word from the boat was heard on May 24. Finally, Flavio Di Giacomo, spokesperson of the UN's International Organization for Migration (IOM), announced that the boat was in Benghazi Port, Libya, adding that he did not find this true.
The refugee aid organization "Alarm Phone" stated that this push back is a crime and they are waiting for an explanation from Malta.
