Syrian Workers Burned to Death in İzmir Güzelbahçe Commemorated
Three Syrian refugee workers, who were burned to death in the Güzelbahçe district of Izmir on November 16, 2021, were commemorated on their death anniversary.

Ahmet El Ali, Mamun El Nebhan and Hüseyin El Biş were burned while sleeping in the construction they were staying in. Mamun Al Nebhan was buried by his family in his hometown of Idlip. Ahmet El Ali and Hüseyin El Biş She was buried in Güzelbahçe Yelki Cemetery.
Perpetrator Confesses Crime, No Lawsuits

In the press release, it was stated that the person who burned three workers has not been prosecuted yet, although he confessed to his crime. Emphasizing that racism and nationalism fuel hatred among people, the importance of solidarity with refugees was highlighted.
