A FINE DETAILED BOOK
"What do you do when you love a person?' they asked Mr. K. "I'll make a sketch of it," replied Mr. K. “ and I make an effort to make it look like. “For the likeness of man. " (1)
Imagine a great artist who thinks that poetry, theater, political struggle, Let him continue his work called "Mr. Kauner's Stories", in which stories like the one above were produced, from the 1930s until the end of his life, besides scientific research... Moreover, he should do this amid heavy political pressures, exiles and impossibilities.
I'm talking about Brecht, one of the important names that the twentieth century introduced to the new ages. Ahmet Cemal, who made a selection from the work named 'Mr. Kauner's Stories' and translated it, says: "Like 'Meti', these stories are in fact a tool in which Brecht expresses his worldview by immersing it in various reflections of life."< br>
Actually, a philosophy that can be called 'share' or 'in brief' rather than 'story' These predominantly texts were, for Brecht, a kind of lifelong thought exercise.
"Mr Kauner Stories of ' s forty-fifty-page content is a thin, yet shockingly detailed book. In the Renaissance era, such short / impressive writings can be found by Montaigne, who introduced the 'experimental' genre to literature. With these stories, Brecht acted like the Montaigne of a new age, at a higher spiral level than him...
The reader encounters such nice things in the book that it can cause minor typographical errors and shifts in meaning. He doesn't care much for a few sentences that have been broken or made wrong, a story or two whose content is questionable.
Here's another example:
"Mr. Kauner was looking at the painting drawn by his little nephew. It depicted a chicken flying over a courtyard.
'Why does your chicken have three legs?' asked Mr. Kauner.'The little artist girl said: 'Chickens can't fly,' 'I found a third leg necessary for her so she could push herself off the ground.'
'I'm glad I asked you that question,' said Mr. Kauner." (2)
How well he touched on the fineness and creativity in art! How well he stated that he has no qualifications. Needless to say, let's end with one last 'briefly':
"The one who came to a foreign house Before retiring, Mr. K. looked at the exits of the house, not looking for anything else. Upon a question, he replied shyly: 'This is an old and deep-rooted habit. I'm for justice. That's why it's good that the house I'm staying at has more than one exit.' " (3)
